Currently, Apple is one of the biggest company in the computer market but, Microsoft is coming up with its two new versions Microsoft Surface Book and Surface Pro,which might be a game changer in the PC market.

According to the latest speculation, the Redmond-based tech giant is set to introduce its next generation Surface Book and Surface Pro by mid-2017 claims, The Country Caller.

Microsoft's upcoming products will reportedly be ttwo of the most powerful gadgets in the market. For instance, the Surface Pro 5 will have the Windows 10 operating system, as well as an Intel Kaby Lake processor, and 16 gigabyte of RAM said, University Herald.

The Surface Pro is also not far behind of these killer specs. If rumors are to be believed the Surface Pro might also come up with 4K resolution screen and with 8-megapixel front and 16-megapixel rear camera.

In terms of design, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air are the most sought after laptops in the market. Microsoft's Surface Book 2 and Surface Pro 5 are also in the line to take lead over Apple's flagship's.Microsoft is looking to come with stunning design as the current models are not seemed to have very impressive looks. But, both the devices will have close competition in this department.  

Experts believe that both the upcoming Surface Book 2 and Surface Pro 5 will have 4K screens. The Surface Book 2 however, will feature a bigger screen display and better resolution than the Surface Pro 5.

Battery life is the long standing issue with both the devices. The current battery can withstand about 5-6 hours with video playback. The new versions are expected to come with longer battery life because of Intel's seventh generation processor with powerfull performance.

Microsoft Surface Book 2 and Surface Pro 5 are pretty much expected to come up with Windows 10 Redstone 2. Surface Pro 5 will cost $899 and $999 for the Core i7 version.
