World War 3 threat: Vladimir Putin tests Nuclear- Capable Topol Missiles
Even after Russia launched a number of ballistic missile tests on October 13, fears of a third global war were further stoked.
After the launching of a Topol missile from a submarine in the Barents Sea, it seems that World War 3 is shaping in its own way. Topol missile is one of the fastest missiles in the world, and the exercise is a part of a number of ballistic tests. Some predict that missile tests are a challenged with the US, which started over the conflict in Syria.
Russia launched three missiles: the second was launched from north- west, the third nuclear capable missiles were fired from Okhotsk, north of Japan and its hit specific target area of Kamchatka Peninsula firing range, as reported by Express.
Matthew Rojansky, Director of the Kennan Institute at the Wilson center, said," This is a conflict, there should be no doubt"
The RS-12M Topol, a single-warhead intercontinental deadly ballistic missile that entered service in 1985, has a maximum range of 10,000 kilometers or 6,125 miles. It could carry a nuclear warhead with a yield of up to 550 kilotons.
After the missile test, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered all official with relatives living abroad to fly them back to Russia because of the looming tension on the prospect of WW3.
Meanwhile, Pentagon admitted that World War 3 is looming, because of worsening relations between Moscow and Washington over the Syria crisis. Putin canceled his France visit over rising tensions concerning issues in Syria and the Kremlin's moving nuclear missiles test.
Russia is accused of interfering with the US presidential elections. However, Sergei Lavrov, Russian Foreign Minister called it "baseless."
Moscow blamed American aggression on the Iskandar missile near NATO territory in Europe. The missile test is also openly warned of the possible use of nuclear weapons, reported by HNGN. It has assured that those are only for normal combat training." The ideas of a military war, a new cold war or an arms race are being circulated. Of course, it's not true", Sergei Shogi, Russian Defence Minister.
However, former Soviet leader Gorbachev agrees that the world is at the dangerous point because of the rising tension between two super powers.
