TV legend Don Francisco makes comeback on Telemundo with new talk show
The TV legend Don Francisco has returned with a new talk show named "Don Francisco Te Invita" (Don Francisco Invites You) on Telemundo, the rival of his former Spanish-language TV network Univision.
Don Francisco, Mario Luis Kreutzberger in real life, has premiered his talk show on Sunday at October 9 at 10 pm in Mexico and will air every Sunday at the same time. Don Francisco will still amuse viewers with his energetic and strong charisma.
The new talk show to be hosted by Don Francisco has a studio that can accommodate more than 200 audiences. It will feature the world's prominent personalities, stars, musicians, comedians, and people with extraordinary stories. Variety.com reported that world leaders to be interviewed in his program include the outgoing U.S. President Barack Obama. It would also cover the 2016 US Presidential election, the Summer Olympics in Rio, and the World Cup in 2018.
Don Francisco has been recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records as host and creator of the longest running talk show Sabado Higante (Giant Saturday). The show was started in his native land Chile and he brought it to Miami with the Univision. It ended last September.
Although Kreutzberger had been in his former network for almost all of his life he expressed excitement with his new show. As everyone may have thought that he is retiring (he would turn 75 in December) but he still lives to do what he loves. He said to E! News that he never missed the former program and network.
Though he is grateful to them but in his mind, he is going to build something new. "My big challenge at Telemundo is not only being successful with my talk show but also to develop new talent-that is my big challenge. This gives me the opportunity to give them my experience of more than 50 years," he added.
Don Francisco would surely excite his new and old followers in this new show.
