Smartwatch Battle: Apple Watch 2 vs Samsung Gear S3
Apple and Samsung are the two biggest rivals in the tech market and when it comes to phone making the rivalry get fiercer. With cut-throat competition, both companies try to edge over the other and Smartwatches are no exception. Both tech giants hold the largest market share in Smarwatch market with Google is also trying to catch-up.
Among the companies, Samsung was the first who came with Smartwatch concept as an accessory which serves as a companion to its high-end phones and tablet in September 2013 while Apple launched its Smartwatch in 2015.
Both devices are very sleek has supreme built-in quality. Both have edge over the others in different features. The Apple's product is lighter than Samsung's Gear3. According to The Inquirer, Apple has a dizzying array of styles with two watch face sizes 38mm and 42mm. The buyers have options to choose aluminum, stainless steel and ceramic cases with several colour options.
Gear S3 features stainless steel with polished shine. As far as frontier is concerned the device has a matte black finish. It is 12.9mm thick.
Apple Watch 2 series lacks in connectivity options when compared with Samsung Gear 3. Samsung's Smartwatch has features like Bluetooth connectivity, Wifi and LTE. The Apple device lack in connectivity options compared to Gear 3. According to CNN, Apple watch doesn't have built-in-internet connectivity. Both devices are enabled with the GPS.
Both devices have the same 360x360 resolutions display with 278ppi. Apple watch has steel and a ceramic model with sapphire and glass coverings. In comparison to Watch 2, Gear 3 has Gorilla Glass. In this department both seems to have a close fight.
Apple Series 2 Smartwatch priced at around $369 while Gear 3 will cost you around 499 USD.
It is difficult to tell who the best is but both products are gorgeous and have awesome features.
