Johnny Depp joins the cast of J.K Rowling's 'Fantastic Beasts'
John Christopher (Johnny Deep) will be casting in the sequel "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" together with Eddie Redmayne.The film "Fantastic Beasts" is will released as the first of a five-film series which will be played by Redmayne as Newt Scamander. Redmayne's character is a British wizard at Beast Division, Ministry of Magic and magi zoologist who comes to New York in 1926, unconscious of the rising tension between the magical community and the No-Maj.
Magizoologists is the study of magical creatures and it is the first introduction of the wizarding world in North America. The film focuses on the magical adventures of "magi zoologist" Newt Scamander, 70 years before Harry Potter enrolls at Hogwarts, according to Los Angeles Times.
"Fantastic Beasts" takes its title from Hogwarts textbook about magical creatures written by Newt Scamander. The fictional book was published in 2001 by J.K Rowling in Scamander's name. According to a report by Deadline, the actor of "Pirates of the Caribbean" had a small cameo in the first film series. The first film will trail the events when some magical creatures have been recklessly unleashed in 1920's New York.
Eddie Redmayne will play as Newt Scamander with Percival Graves as Colin Farrell, Porpentine Goldstein as Katherine Waterston, Queenie Goldstein as A Fine Frenzy and Jacob Kowalski as Dan Fogler. The role to be played by Johnny Deep still a mystery and no details about his character. Johnny Deep become very known in his movie "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and was seen in his role Mad Hatter in " Alice through the Looking Glass".
"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is directed by David Yates. The film will be in theaters in Australia on November 17, 2017, US and UK will be in theaters on November 18 and the second sequel is expected to release on November 16, 2018.
