Twenty-nine-year-old singer/songwriter Lily Allen recently explained that family ties was the reason she opted out of a "Game Of Thrones" role on the hit show.

During a Reddit AMA chat on Tuesday, Allen revealed that the producers of the HBO show offered her the role of Theon Greyjoy's sister.

The producers then explained that the role of the sister required a scene where Theon attempts to seduce his sister that he hasn't seen in years.

Although other actors would have justified the incestuous storyline as "just acting," the plot line hit too close to home for Lily.

For those of you who may not know, actor Alfie Allen who plays Theon Grejoy on "Game of Thrones" is Lily's actual brother.

Safe to say, Lily turned down the role because, let's face it, who wants to act out a sex scene with their real life brother?

Gross!

"I've been asked to do a Game of Thrones cameo," Allen said in the Reddit AMA on Tuesday night. "They asked me if I'd be interested in playing Theon's sister, and I felt uncomfortable because I would have had to go on a horse and he would have touched me up and sh-."

She continued, "Once they told me what was entailed, I said no thanks."

Good call Lily!

Us Magazine reports that the episode in question is the "Game of Thrones" episode titled, "The Night Remembers" that aired in season two. In the episode, there is in fact a scene where Alfie's character rides horseback with Yara while he caresses her, both inside and outside of her clothing. Much to his mortification, he finds out that the woman he was seducing was actually his sister.

Despite the undoubtedly awkward offer she got from HBO, Lily admitted that she would still be open to a role on "Game of Thrones."

No incest, of course.

"I would be open to doing a musical cameo like Sigur Ros, though," Lily revealed.

Hey, producers over at HBO, are you listening!?

We'll just have to wait and see if Lily's wish comes true.
