NBA Trade Rumors: Will Klay Thompson be traded by Golden State Warriors to acquire Hassan Whiteside of Miami Heat?
Another trade rumor arises for the shooting guard of the Golden State Warriors, Klay Thompson even after they have declared that Thompson will not be available and be traded for another player but it seems to be that the Golden State is being persistent in the trade rumors regarding their players.
The last rumor is that Thompson could be available for trade with the Boston Celtics as a potential destination, according to Brian Scalabrine, a former NBA player and an analyst of Boston Celtics. But the trade rumors were quickly killed by the Warriors.
And here comes the other trade rumor. Now, it is the Miami Heat as another potential destination of Klay Thompson after he was being criticized in his recent downtrend on his three-point arc. According to Headline & Global News, the arrival of Kevin Durant affected the performance of Thompson and the 'super team' that was built seems to be going for nothing.
Speculations suggesting that a trade deal might happen soon between Warriors; Klay Thompson, Shaun Livingston, and Zaza Pachulia in an exchange with the players of Miami Heat; Hassan Whiteside, and Josh Richardson. Its is still doubtful that Warriors will trade these players who contributed big in the last two season.
It is remembered that Warriors needed to acquire a defensive big man and suggesting Nerlens Noel, of Philadelphia 76ers. Corey Seidman of CSN Philly said that if they are going to make Klay Thomspon available for trade, they can get anything that they want including Hassan Whiteside, and that suggests that it would be a better option than Noel, reported by Yibada.
Whiteside has an average of 3.7 blocks a game and has a lot to offer to the team. Perfect for what Warriors' been looking for compared to what Noel has on his table. Well, the Warriors seem interested to keep Thompson all by themselves for the rest of the season and that the Miami Heat have yet to show any peculiar signs that they wanted to trade Whiteside. Nonetheless, the door isn't closed yet for a possible trade deal.
