Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce from Brad Pitt in September, after both lived together for 12 years. This was an absolute shocker for the fans of both. Later this month, Brad Pitt was also investigated for child abuse but later cleared. Now, the tussle for children's custody has been started between the pair.

According to ET Online,  Billy Bob Thornton said that "he'll always be there for Jolie when she calls." However, such was diluted when they mutually went for a settlement through legal separation in 2002. The permanent divorce allowed Angelina Jolie to find another life partner.

After the statement, one can understand that Billy Bob Thornton wants to keep his friendship alive with Angelina Jolie. Thornton and Jolie got married on May 5, 2000, but he relationship didn't go for long and both got separated after two years.
