Dancing With The Stars: Gleb and Jana eliminated from finals
Some things are destined to happen and no matter how others try to change the circumstances, they won't change even for the better. This is a little similar to what happened with DWTS's couple contestants, Gleb Savchenko and Jana Kramer .
The Russian dancer faced a troublesome knee injury that led him to rest for a couple of days, which did affect the duo's performance. And then surfaced the report which disclosed that Gleb is down with the flu. It was not the week to be weak!
Kramer had been a great support to him throughout and tried her best for his speedy recovery. She found an inspiration in Gleb that brought her towards the final phase of DWTS. She credited the boy with all the happiness and love she experienced during her journey at the show, according to People.
The Russian dancer, Gleb Savchenko and the country singer, Jana Kramer , came face-to-face with Laurie Hernandez and Valentin Chmerkovskiy, Calvin Johnson and Lindsay Arnold, and James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess for two dances on Monday night, Mercury News has reported.
All the couples tried the most to put their right step forward and make it to the mirrorball conquest. It is only the great master time, that supported a pair whose luck shone the brightest. Jana and Gleb did perform a sensual tango and received amazing comments from the judges but the fate held something else. The couple was eliminated due to stumbling of Gleb, for which he was seen apologising to Kramer while backstage.
Though the pair has shown a great enthusiasm to reach the finals, but elimination just a night before has come as a sad story for all their lovers as well. Jana was seen enjoying the finale and cheered for all the other finalists.
It was Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez and Valentin Chmerkovskiy, who were declared as the winners for Dancing With The Stars Season 23. The following positions were grabbed by IndyCar driver James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess placed second, and retired NFL player Calvin Johnson, Jr. and Lindsay Arnold placed third.
