According to Movie News Guide, there are some Marvel villains who will be able to completely defeat Thanos. Some of them could be mischievous but some are really pure evil.
Here is a list of the heros that can defeat Thanos:
1. Surtur
- Mainly a Thor villain and is known to be extremely powerful
- Often considered as an Odin equal, the demon has a sword called Twilight
- He is able to manipulate matter at a molecular level and his sword emits such an amount of energy that it is more powerful than Thanos'
- The Fire demon will be appearing in Thor: Ragnarok and if rumors are to be believed, he will be Thanos' servant.
2. Galactus
- The only living cosmic being that belongs to the universe before the Big Bang
- He is from a world that was way more developed than the current one and is himself huge in size
- The cosmic being devours planets daily to survive and has another powerful character called Silver Surfer, who finds these planets for him
3. Dormammu of the Dark Dimension
- Probably the only villain who comes close to matching Thanos' powers

- As a master of spells, Dormammu has the knowledge of almost unlimited number of spells that he can use
- Also, his energy manipulations are far stronger than Thanos.
