Plantronics has launched their latest wireless headphones, more than anyone's expectation in concern to sound quality and price. Compared to giant companies like Beats and Bose, Plantronics BackBeat Pro is selling at a very affordable price of $200.

The BackBeat Pro 2 is packed with a decent noise-canceling and even more bass thumping compared to its predecessor.

The latest BackBeat Pro 2 is less bulky with oblong ear-pad design which is different from the previous units which were designed with large circular earpieces. The known headphone company claims that the BackBeat Pro 2 is 15 percent lighter than before and overall volume was reduced by 35 percent. Anyone can easily identify the weight difference simply picking up both the headphones.

Moreover, BackBeat Pro 2 is more comfortable to wear compared to its predecessor and it is comically less bigger than the listeners head.

The headset is mostly made from plastic but Plantronics added few changes in the headset as the company used carbon fiber materials around the outside of the ear pads and the inner circle was designed with wood-grain plastic finish.

The control panel of the BackBeat Pro 2 is way more user friendly than the previous model. Instead of having all controls spread on the left and right earpieces the Pro 2 simplifies the burden by putting all short keys on left side of the earpieces. Turning the outer ring helps adjust the volume level while hitting the center circle allows playing and pausing the music. Controlling the headset may seem complicated and confusing but in often use, it will be easier to navigate the controls.

The bass quality is way better than its previous versions but it's not over done to the point of distraction. Moreover, the headset sounds awesome across several genre of music.

Despite of its low price, the BackBeat Pro 2 also comes with advance features that are not common at this price range. The noise cancelation feature works well to drown out the droning of the train during commute.

It may still be incomparable with the leading brands like Bose and Beats but considering its affordable price, these beautiful pairs of headsets stands strong enough to impress the buyers.
