After the successful launch of Moto G4 and G4 Plus, the Lenovo-owned Motorola is all set to 2017 flagship smartphones. As the Motorola has always follows their traditional new year's flagship, and this time the variant will also be coming with a 'Plus' variant. These phones will the addition in the G series, and will be reported as Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus.

While all the attention had still been on the Moto Z and Moto Z Play, the latest leak revealed some details and few images of the purported Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus smartphones. Till now three images of the phone were leaked online, two shows the front of the phone and one is a screenshot.

Details about the MotoG5 and plus, mostly it's expected to be the follow-up of the previous variant, the leaked front image reveals that the Moto G5 plus will be featured with a fingerprint sensor, which will be placed on the home button of the phone, whereas on the other side Moto G5 don't seems to having any fingerprint sensors, but both the phones are almost identical.

While coming to the leaked specifications of the MotoG5 and Moto G5 Plus both the phones are coming with a 5.5 inches full High Definition display. Both the smartphones will be backed by a powerful octa-core processor, and both will come with a turbo charging support.

Adding to the camera specification the new variants are coming up with a 5 megapixel front facing camera and the primary camera will be 13-megapixel on the Moto G5 and 16-megeapixel on G5 Plus as per the speculation.

The most important thing which a buyer asks in the very beginning of the product is the storage capacity of the phone; the Moto G5 will come with a 16 GB internal storage, on the other side G5 plus will be equipped with two variants 16 GB and 32 GB.

On the software side Moto G5 and G5 plus will likely to run on 7.0 Nougat out of the box as company is already testing it for the G4 Plus.

The expected date of launch of the Phones is March 8, which market would get the smartphone has not been mentioned yet in the rumors. Please note all at the end of the day all these information are rumors and its and better idea to wait for the official launch of the device.
