The "Work" singer was quick to stop the imagined feud and asked for fans to stop pitting "black women against each other" and instead called to be lauded for their accomplishments. Rihanna commented on the controversial Instagram post and explained that the reason why she liked it was because she saw herself in the photo but did not read the caption.
The reason why Beyonce and Rihanna fans were up against another was because the fan account posted a congratulatory post for Rihanna for her Grammy Award nominations.
