Microsoft Surface Pro The Ultimate Mobile Computer
If you are looking for a lightweight, powerful computer which could be convenient to travel, then Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will be the best deal, despite its year old age and lack of current processors or forward-looking things like USB Type-C, the Surface Pro 4 beats out the options that have come out this year.
The Surface Pro is a very goof mobile computer, it's light, thin fast and versatile. Microsoft has also has also addressed many bugs that were present over a year ago. It's a reliable machine and one can carry it anywhere from train to office.
The Surface Pro is a very good invention, but it could be great with a couple of additions like long battery life and integrated cellular connectivity, whether it's LTE, 5G or beyond. Mobile professionals says that a perfect mobile computer can last all day long and can get connected to the internet no matter where it is, without having rely on Wi-Fi or a hotspot from another device.
Microsoft has dropped the new that it will soon enable the full windows 10 operating system and all of its legacy to run on ARM-based processors- essentially the same chip set that are in phones. ARM processors offer a different set of benefits compared to the x86 Intel chip which every Windows laptop use now.
A Surface Pro with an ARM processor could potentially alleviate two major issues with the current product, first is the battery life and lack of cellular connectivity. ARM processor based tablets such as iPad or Google Pixel C can go days between charges. Microsoft Surface Pro could do the same like other tables but also provides full windows 10 experiences.
Hopefully Microsoft's new effort with ARM and mobile processors is more than just a play to finally make the smartphone a full PC. Hope that Microsoft is able to see how the platform could make the Surface Pro the ultimate mobile computer.
