HBO's newest drama series Westworld has been great since its premier and made a lot of people tune in for a futuristic park where robots can interact with humans. The season ended with its 90 - minute finale and fans who have watched the finale have been in awe with the cliffhanger left by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. Now, the creators revealed some things regarding the possibility of season 2.

According to their interview with Yahoo!, first thing that fans should know is that Anthony Hopkin's Robert Ford is surely dead and won't be back for second season. Regarding the second season, Lisa Joy shared that they are currently working on scripts and outlines and they found it good and ambitious. Nolan added that the studio itself, HBO, encouraged them to take the time and work on each stage of production. Lastly, the main reason of delay in production of the season 2 is due to the complexity of the work when writing and producing at the same time.

Meanwhile, Radio Times wrote things regarding what to expect for the second season. They started with the tease of Samurai World from the finale of season 1, and when the creators were asked, they simply said "We're definitely teasing there are other worlds." This was followed with the question of escaping the park wherein Maeve almost came through and Lisa Joy answered that atleast one of the robots maybe able to explore the futuristic world. Lastly, Ed Harris, the Man in Black and older William revealed that he is going to be back for more action and drama in season 2 of Westworld.

Finally, two characters who were taken and feared to have been killed, Stubbs and Elsie, are clued to return for the second season.
