Microsoft Will Feature Smart Phones With Computer Level Windows 10 in 2017
It was recently nearly confirmed through reports that the next Surface to be released, the Surface Pro 5, will feature a complete Windows 10 interface. That is to be expected since the Surface is seen more as a computer tablet than a handheld tablet. However, Microsoft decided to step up their game.
Game N Guide did an article filled with segmentation explaining what is to be expected in 2017 and the biggest hype generated was from Microsoft's new plans. According to reports, Microsoft is teaming up with Qualcomm, a phone processor making company, to integrate a full Windows 10 into smartphones.
This means that people will have an entire Personal Computers (PCs) inside their smartphones. Surely enough, almost all smartphones out there are able to do almost anything a computer can but except it is scaled down to the size of a phone. What Microsoft is doing is completely different.
They are integrating all PC features into smartphones. This means that all the applications, designs, movements, and customs the user is used to will be on their phones as well. Not only that, there will be ample integration now between one's smartphone and computer.
1reddrop also gave some details on how this would work. According to them, there will be a lot of emulation and simulation. Using ARM processing, there will be functionalities which resemble a 32 and 64-bit computer. This is just the beginning between Microsoft and Qualcomm and already they are creating something highly innovative.
One can only imagine what is going to happen in the future between these two companies. Perhaps in the future, every one will see a new device which is equal parts a computer as it is a smartphone.
