Not too long anymore, Naughty Dog has unveiled the existence of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End's co-op Survival mode with a new trailer, detailing players ability to soon be able to take on multiple enemy waves along their friends within the game. The game developers have officially announced that fans of the fourth installment in the action-adventure franchise will be able to download Survival along a multiplayer update sometime next week.

The news arrives from an official blog post from Naughty Dog, where the company declares that the content of the update will not only give Survival's solo and cooperative capabilities but also fresh content for Uncharted 4's competitive multiplayer mode.

As per GameRant, those who want to check out all of what the forthcoming patch will have to offer have also been invited to watch a Naughty Dog live stream on Tuesday, December 13 at 11:00 AM PT to show off more Survival content and the new multiplayer DLC.

Across 50 waves and 10 maps the player will face off against Shoreline mercenaries, heavily armored Brutes, Snipers, Hunter and more, that will only get more precise, more aggressive and better equipped as time goes on. Every 10 waves culminate in an intense boss battle where the player has to defeat the boss to go ahead to the next level, including all new Private Warlords.

According to PlayStation.blog, Survival also features its own dedicated progression system, Relic Challenges, and load outs. As player will rank up, they will earn upgrades for their weapons, as well as new items including Survival-exclusive boosters, guns, ammo, snipers and health kits. There are also vanity items which can only be earned by playing Survival but can be used to deck out players character in both Survival and Multiplayer.

Taking all this into consideration, it's impressive that Naughty Dog still has further post-launch plans for Uncharted 4 which is extended into the next year. As a matter of fact, fans of the games should expect content to continue flowing into the game at leat until spring 2017.

But this is just a small taste of what to expect when Survival launches next month. To see more, be sure to check out Latin Post exclusive coverage and extended gameplay videos.
