Britney Spears Called Her Duet Partner Tinashe's Name Wrong: Fans Joked Around on Twitter [VIDEO]
Britney Spears and Tinashe had been holding concerts together recently and Tinashe couldn't ask for more to be singing with Britney Spears. But all these somewhat turned to sour when the pop star herself mispronounced her partner's name during a concert where they sang the piece. The Pop Goddess and the former model have been doing a collaborative track called "Slumber Party" and although they have been doing a lot lately together, it seems they need to be reintroduced to each other.
And maybe this is just as disappointing to Tinashe , as it is for fans who thought that the mistake is a blessing in disguise for the Superlove singer to eventually change her name. For a pop icon to remember her on a different name, would mean to change it entirely because the original cannot catch even a simple memory. As AceShowbiz reports, that fans have already tweeted an advice to Tinashe to change her name, as the Queen of Pop is "never wrong".
But another instance would make others think that Britney Spears is not a "names person" like some people who cannot remember the name of his or her classmate but recognizes them. According to Seventeen Magazine, the Toxic hitmaker have also forgotten her producer from years back and this happened also earlier this week. Memory gap or what, Spears may have valid reasons for these incidents to occur. And regardless if Britney Spears and Tinashe have filmed a music video, performed their songs live on numerous events and recorded their track together, there is still room for understanding why the Make Me singer cannot properly remember her partner's name.
This has not been the first mispronounced name from Britney Spears, as she had also done it with Keesha, or Kesha? Good thing, fans made light of the situation as this is not badly intended by Spears and maybe it will mark something good for Tinashe's career.
