'The Fate of The Furious' Update: Released Trailer Shows Dom Betraying Family?
After more than a year of waiting for the sequel to Fast 7, which made many laught but seriously making them cry during the last part, the trailer for eight installment has been revealed. Further, the title of the eight has been released as "Fate of the Furious" which is suitable for the tenacity of the film's plot. Here is what we've gathered from the trailer shown.
According to Slash Film, upon release of the trailer, many expects the same explosions, cars and a new villain to surface. The first 30 seconds of the trailer showed exactly what they were expecting except one thing, a new villain. The villain for this film is primarily with Dominic Toretto, played by Vin Diesel.
After becoming allies with Luke Hobbs, played by Dwayne Johnson, for the last 2 movies, in this installment, we will see Diesel's character fight it off with The Rock after he swerved Hobbs' car leading to the latter's arrest. This initiated the crew that Dom had eventually betrayed the family he claimed to be the most important.
Uproxx made a breakdown of the trailer and you can see more actions from Jason Statham, returning and might be siding with Johnson, Kurt Russell who assembled the team again and Charlize Theron, the latest villain who is described as "the very definition of high tech terrorism."
Charlize Theron's character is an influential character in this film since she made Dom betray his family in whatever reason. Nonetheless, with Dom's leadership gone off the table, the crew's task now is to hunt him down which won't be easy as seen in the trailer.
The Fate of The Furious has it all, cars, explosions, babes and never before seen, a submarine, to join the battle field in this Dominic Toretto against his own crew. The film is expected to hit theaters on April 14, 2017.
