iPad Pro 2 Release Date, Specs, Price: A10X processor, 256GB storage can rival laptops
The iPad Pro has just been launched this March, but looking at its warm market reception, consumers and the tech community alike cannot help but get excited on rumors that an iPad Pro 2 will be launched in March 2017 and, of course, also talk about the specs and designs that the tablet might sport.
If speculations are to believe, Apple will continue the iPad Pro line but will move away from the iPad Air and iPad Mini. As a result, the iPad Pro 2 might incorporate features from these obliterated lines and offer three variants, Value Walk reported. These variants would include a 9.7-inch, 12.9-inch, and 10.9-inch designs.
Apple is also reportedly gunning for an almost bezel-less look. This would mean that it would look like its predecessor with an overall 9.7-inch size but with a larger screen. Similar to rumors about all Apple future devices, the iPad Pro 2 might not have a Home button too.
As for the features of its camera, the iPad Pro 2 might be able to capture Live Photos with the addition of TrueTone Flash and 4K video recording functionalities. The rear will feature a 12MP sensor while the front will have 5MP.
Furthermore, to improve the power efficiency and battery life of iPad Pro 2, Apple is rumored to be adding an OLED display. As the media outlet noted, this would be a significant upgrade in comparison to its regular IPS LCD.
The biggest catch for iPad Pro 2, however, will be its hardware specs that are rumored to be in competition with that of laptops. As MobilenApps reported, the tablet will sport a powerful A10X Fusion processor and an ultra-speed 6GB of RAM.
The American tech giant is competing for laptop devices in terms of user functionality and experience. As such, Apple will be incorporating the iPad Pro 2 with a 256GB of storage.
Looking at its portability and mobility, the iPad Pro 2 can compete in the race, but whether its overall functionalities can succeed on trumping laptop devices, tech reviews see that it is unlikely.
The pricing and official launching date are yet to be announced but it was speculated that the upcoming tablet will fall in line with the pricing of its predecessor. Considering that there is no official confirmation from Apple yet, readers should treat this news with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned for more exciting updates about the iPad Pro 2!
