Now this is serious! It looks like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are planning to spend their first Christmas as a couple together in London as they were seen purchasing a six foot Christmas tree less than 24 hours ago. Apparently, the "Suits" actress followed her Prince to London after he visited her in Toronto where she lives and shoots her American drama series.  Prince Harry has just finished a 14-day long trip to the Caribbean islands in behalf of the Queen.

According to ET, the two were spotted at the Pines and Needles shop in London's Battersea Park, Monday. An employee of the shop said that she did not know she was waiting on the prince and her famous girlfriend. She just noticed that the two were very casual yet sweet. They simply looked like two people out on a date and shopping for trees.

The shopkeeper noted that they selected a Nordmann Fir tree for  £65 or $82.47. After the purchase, she was surprised that Prince Harry shook her hand. Meghan noticed the shopkeeper's accent, which was American, and asked where she was from. The two even talked about food that they missed eating here in London.

As the employee who served the couple was still unaware who her customers were, other people in the shop immediately recognized the royal and his girlfriend. Another staff offered the couple a mistletoe and Meghan said yes. Prince Harry however found it "weird" as he squeezed one of the berries.

BBC also reported the two's first public appearance together. It said that after they paid for the tree, the two walked out of the store. Prince Harry held the tree on his shoulder while his other hand held hers; Meghan held a bunch of mistletoe on her other hand.

Pines and Needles has been around for 20 years and has served celebrities such as Madonna, Adele, Mick Jagger and Noel Gallagher. The owner said that they are very proud to be able to serve a member of the Royal Family.

With this first public appearance, it is rumored that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be more open with their relationship. It was also hinted that the two will be celebrating the holidays together and will soon be leaving on a week-long romantic trip.
