Apple Replaces Confusing " Time Remaining" Option From MacBook Pro's Battery Icon
Apple recently seemed to put up some effort to uplift its latest MacBook Pro device. The company recently rolled out a much needful update for its macOS Sierra which evolved an essential fix to a bug seen in the battery life quota of 2016 MacBook Pro. The update removed the controversial 'Time remaining" feature from the tech giant's Mac Stunner.
According to The Verge, the machine troubled many users with this apparent time remaining feature which was meant to calculate an estimated battery life when the MacBook Pro is running any operation on it. Generally, users could observe the feature whenever they click on the battery icon of the device.
The latest update: 10.12.2 which was launched by Apple Yesterday will completely replace the "time remaining" attribute from the device when a user installs it on their MacBook Pro. Despite this, there were large reports observed by Apple authorities from users of this masterpiece from all over the world regarding its actual battery life.
Apple previously claimed that the device sports an allover battery life of 10 hours when charged fully. But users of the machine exclaimed their confusion with this matter on various public forums like Reddit etc recently. Many of them said that they are getting power backup of only 6 to 9 hours. So, there are some streams of discrepancy seen on the battery life reflection made by the company itself.
However, with this update, Apple is expected to solve the above-said issue. As per TechCrunch's take on this update, Apple has also evolved some other corrections alongside the battery issue. The company has also fixed the full screening and visual graphics issue and the problem previous seen on iCloud syncing.
As per potential sources, users who are now willing to take the advantage of this update can find it now in the Mac App Store. Improvements to setup and reliability of Auto Unlock alongside some other advancements have also been traced along with the update.
