“The Voice” Finale Fuels Blake Shelton & ‘Sore Loser’ Adam Levine Feud – Backstage Brawl Averted
"The Voice" has found another winner and it's none other than Sundance Head, coached by Blake Shelton. The 40-year old singer was in cloud nine as his country crooner defeated coach Adam Levine's Billy Gilman. And while Blake celebrated, Adam insisted that he rigged the results. As the show ended, the drama continued backstage as the two exchanged insults. People backstage thought the two would end up in a brawl but luckily the coaches cooled down.
Radar Online was first to report Blake Shelton and Adam Levine's backstage drama. Shelton was celebrating Sundance's victory when he learned that Adam Levine was sulking after the show. An insider said Blake called Adam a "sour loser" and revealed that the two have been competitive against each other ever since.
"Adam does not like losing -- especially to Blake," added the source. Levine has three champions to his name since "The Voice" started in 2011 but even if Gilman was the obvious crowd favorite, it was not enough for him to win.
Meanwhile, Wooxbox reported that Blake and Adam have been in constant competition. Their bets were fighting for the crown and this made them more competitive against each other. Blake was like telling everyone backstage how great Sundance was while Adam was sulking at the other end.
Those who saw the two backstage thought the night won't end well but in the end, their friendship averted any troubles. Adam did not congratulate his friend and competitor for his win.
Blake celebrated Sundance's win despite the absence of his fiancé and "The Voice" co-star Gwen Stefani. The two are planning to get married soon and to adopt a baby girl. On the other hand, Gwen is also feuding with Miley Cyrus who is rumored to become part of the show's next season.
