It was just a few days ago when a San Fernando Valley Women claimed that pop star Justin Bieber tried to steal her cell phone. According to the woman who spoke to TMZ, Bieber grabbed her phone and began wrestling with her in an attempt to steal the phone.

So why would one of Hollywood's richest young celebrities try to steal a cell phone? The altercation between Justin and the unidentified woman allegedly began after the woman tried to snap a photo of Justin getting into an altercation with some other people at a golf course.

Despite reports claiming that the situation was being investigated by the LAPD, the Biebs took to Twitter to dispel the reports that he is now claiming are just "rumors."

"It is hard to defend myself and my privacy every moment of the day," he said on Twitter. "Then to see rumors. The truth will set u free."

It seems that the truth is in fact setting Bieber free as reports are now claiming that the woman had been the aggressor in the situation, not the pop star. An employee from the Sherman Oaks Parks Castle where Justin and his crew had been playing called into TMZ to talk about what really happened. In the audio clip posted on TMZ, the woman explains that Justin was upset but never put his hands on the woman and never grabbed her phone.

"I will continue to be the man my mother raised. I love people and I will try to be kind even when things are not fair. Don't believe rumors," Bieber continued to say via Twitter. "Thanks for those who stick by me and those that help me grow everyday. I love you."

By the looks of it all, it seems that this woman is just a disgruntled fan; perhaps she was just upset that she couldn't take a photo with the famous young celebrity. Regardless, it's nice to see Bieber taking the high road and not getting himself mixed up in any more scandal.
