New York Knicks Struggles without point guard Derrick Rose
It appears that Derrick Rose's back issues are not going well at the moment as he continues to be in and out of the team. Derrick missing his fourth game in the last ten days has certainly affected the New York Knicks.
The Knicks have not put pressure on Derrick as they don't want him to rush back, besides the team needs him to be recovered totally. The Knicks have lost their last three games with Derricks combined 10 minutes as per the Knicks Blog.
On the other hand it turns out that Jennings is having a tough time at guard with Derrick's absence. The star has been going through a tough time to put everything in place while filling in for Derrick.
Getting a replacement for the NBA superstar is not an easy task, despite the fact of many other talented players with the Knicks Derrick seems to have his own style in playing. As for Jennings he has been shooting only 26 percent from the field reported the New York Post.
Derrick stated that he hates missing games, besides he wants to play consistently instead of playing one game. The Knicks coach Jeff Hornacek revealed that Derrick is not 100 percent ready and it's still stiff.
It unfortunate that the Knicks had to miss their star for the past games, the team is hopeful that everything will be good for Derrick and he can join them soon. Jennings has the roughest part at the moment filling in for Derrick and continuing to do his work as well.
Derrick played 65 games last season and he will get treated on the five hour plane journey back home. Derrick claimed that it was a freak accident when he fell on his back in the Phoenix game; he is certainly looking forward to get treated for the upcoming home game.
