Jay-Z, Beyoncé, & Solange Knowles Elevator Fight: SNL Parody Clip Makes Fun of Incident
It's the video that has taken the Internet by storm this week.
By now, you've probably watched or heard about the infamous Jay Z and Solange elevator smack down that took place in an elevator at New York City's lavish Met Ball Gala.
In the audio-less surveillance video, Solange is seen violently hitting and kicking Jay Z. At one point, Solange even tries to swing her metal purse towards Jay Z's face.
Beyonce was also in the elevator during the fight but kept still and did not get involved.
So what exactly was the violent smack fest about?
Well, we might not ever know.
Soon after the video leak, Bey, Jay and Solange put on a happy front, remained silent about details regarding the fight, and later released a statement that read, "Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family."
But thanks to the people over at SNL, fans might have a better understanding about what happened that night with the new SNL audio version of the elevator fight.
They explain that the fight was all just a misunderstanding and later reveal the incident between Jay Z and Solange was simply over a spider that Solange was trying to get off of Jay Z's clothes.
The highlight of the parody goes to former SNL cast member Maya Rudolph who appeared as Beyonce and explained what went down that night while using popular Beyonce lyrics.
Rudolph even managed to throw in the infamous "Surfboard" line from Beyonce and Jay Z's song "Drunk In Love."
As the Knowles-Carter family continues to move forward as a "united family," fans can get ready for the married couple's upcoming "On The Tour" beginning June 25 in Miami, Florida.
