The race for the Stanley Cup is down to just four teams. In the East, the Montreal Canadiens and New York Rangers are facing off in the "old school" matchup of two original six teams. In the West, the defending Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks are facing the Los Angeles Kings. Both of these teams have won the last two Stanley Cups.

This week has four must-watch games for hockey fans.

Monday, May 19, 8 PM EST.

New York Rangers at Montreal Canadiens, Game 2

Neither of these franchises have won a Stanley Cup since the '90s, but both look to end that drought this year. The Rangers absolutely embarrassed the Canadiens in Montreal in game one on Saturday. The Rangers won by a dominating score of 7-2. Canadiens goalie Carey Price allowed four goals on just 20 shots and was pulled. If the Rangers are able to win Game 2, the Canadiens are in huge trouble.

Wednesday, May 21, 8 PM EST.

Los Angeles Kings at Chicago Blackhawks, Game 2

Having won each of the last two Stanley Cup titles, these two teams have a lot of experience at this stage of the playoffs. In game one the Blackhawks defeated the Kings 3-1 to take a series lead. Game 2 will be played in Chicago at the United Center. Corey Crawford has been playing fantastic for the Blackhawks so far, and the defense has been just as good limiting shots on goal. The Kings need their offense to step up and rise to the occasion to avoid going down 0-2.

Thursday, May 22, 8 PM EST.

Montreal Canadiens at New York Rangers, Game 3

Either the Canadiens will be trailing in this series 0-2 or the series will be tied 1-1 heading into this Game 3, Thursday night. This is a great opportunity for the Rangers to take advantage of the series and end it quickly. Games 3 and 4 will both be played at Madison Square Garden in front of thousands of Rangers fans. Henrick Ludqvist looks to continue his dominant play.

Saturday, May 23, 8 PM EST.

Chicago Blackhawks at Los Angeles Kings, Game 3

Similar to the Rangers-Canadiens series, this too will either be tied 1-1 or the Blackhawks will be up 2-0 heading into Game 3. Regardless, the Blackhawks will be traveling to Los Angeles to play at the Staples Center. The Kings are going to have to get more quality shots on goal because Crawford is already a top tier goaltender. The Kings are also going to have to be more physical and outhit the Blackhawks if they want to avoid falling down 0-3 in this series.

Going forward, this week gives fans a lot of great hockey games to view. The NHL playoff bracket will be down to just two teams soon enough.
