The Heroes of the Storm’ New Weekly Event “Snow Brawl” Comes with Snowball Explosions
Bizzard games launched the winter theme new weekly event for Heroes of the Storm. The event is named Snow Brawl and involves throwing snowballs. The game makers have added two types of snowballs into the game. They are fluffy snowballs and heavy snowballs. Players will be able to pick these snowballs throughout the map. However, they cannot hold more than one at a time. The objective of the snowball is destroying the core of the enemy side. However, the perks of using the snowballs involve certain rules and regulations. Adding on, players completing three matches will be able to earn 1,000 Gold and a portrait.
The following are the rules of the 'Snow Brawl' explained in Battle for the new weekly event of Heroes of Storm:
Snowballs
Before going into the Cursed Hollow, players have to quickly pick one from the three randomly chosen Heroes within the given 30 seconds of time.
The previously mentioned Snowballs will be present on the ground wherever the player goes in the match. The Fluffy Snowball is speedy and throws a line skill-shot to blow off a one enemy Hero. It does not deal with Minions and Buildings but damages its targets significantly.
According to MMOexaminor, the Heavy Snowball, on the other hand, targets an entire area and explodes to create excessive damage on non-Heroic targets. The Bizzard website says that the Heavy Snowball will add a slow of 60 percent to all damaged targets that take more than 2 seconds to decay.
Throwing the Snowball
Players can use the default hotkey F to throw their snowball. They will also gain the snowball throwing ability that will show up next to their ability bar while they are holding their Snowball. Heroes can pick their snowballs from the ground. However as mentioned earlier, they cannot hold more than one snowball.
Tribute Spawning
During the first tribute phase, two tribute spawns will happen each on a five-second gap. Upon picking up their first tribute the next one will spawn after a gap of 5 seconds. Thus, they can find two tributes alive. This is called a "rolling" tribute spawn that rolls down one after another till the entire team gets cursed. Once, the team is cursed the tributes will not spawn for a minute and the Snow Brawl event will not spawn tributes in such a way that the two teams can be cursed at a time.
With the help of these Snowballs, Players can destroy the core of the enemies and earn their victory over them!
