Mackenzie Rosman Maxim Pics: '7th Heaven's' Ruthie Camden Is All Grown Up
My how fast they grow up. It seems like just yesterday that Mackenzie Rosman was charming all of us as the adorable Ruthie Camden on the hit show 7th Heaven. Now that she's a full decade older, Rosman is making people take notice for much different reasons.
Rosman recently completed a photo shoot for Maxim where she shows quite a bit of skin along with her heart-melting smile. Certainly, the racy photo shoot will stir the pot a bit given the role that Rosman became famous for, but not nearly to the extent that her co-star Jessica Biel did when she posed topless for Gear magazine at the tender age of 17.
"I was probably nine at the time, but I remember that. It was a big deal. The magazine was banned on set, I think by orders of [executive producer] Aaron Spelling," Rosman told Maxim of the scandal. "I sneaked a peek at it, though. It was racy gossip amongst the women of '7th Heaven.'"
So does Rosman have any regrets for becoming the second 7th Heaven alum to get racy for the cameras? Well, if she does she is playing it off well, maintaining that it's simply "who I am." One thing is for sure, however: Biel certainly has had regrets over the years for her infamous photo shoot.
"That photo shoot was just a really bad decision on my part and I got myself involved with people who weren't thinking about me and were instead thinking about what kind of a story they could get out of it," said the actress.
Some have even speculated that the Maxim spread comes as a way for Rosman to revitalize a stagnant career, with several commenters online joking that she has finally ran out of 7th Heaven money. Rosman is set to star in the SyFy channel's shark-inspired thriller "Ghost Shark" Aug. 22.
Regardless of her intent, the pictures are out now, and Rosman looks amazing. The 23-year-old actress looks practically flawless in the photos that have made their way to the internet so far. So what does a prospective suitor have to do to win Rosman's heart?
"Like, just be respectful. I don't deal with the whole bad boy who doesn't call you," says the beauty with girl-next-door charm. "That doesn't interest me at all, and I just look the other way."
Before you start busting out all of those respectful moves guys, you might want to slow down for a second. Rosman said she already has a boyfriend, but declined to say just who the lucky man was.
