Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift are really close friends, but according to reports the two could be ringing wedding bells in the future.

According to reports, a marriage pact has been made between the two. In the alleged deal, the two superstars will get married to each other if they are still single by the age of 30. Notably, these reports have continued amidst other rumors that Taylor has been setting up the "Lego House" singer with her other BFF, Selena Gomez.

However, Ed was quick to debunk the rumors, telling MTV that none of the reports are true. He noted that he was aware Selena is still dating the Biebs.

"Well she's dating (Justin) Bieber, isn't she?" the singer told MTV.

As for his apparent romance with T. Swift and the rumored wedding happening in just a few years, Sheeran says it is "very unbelievable."

"I don't know where that comes from, it's usually from a source and it's usually from someone who doesn't know the person," he told the music news website. "There's lots of stuff in the press and some of it's very unbelievable and some of it isn't."

Ed noted though that some reports about him are true.

"Some of it's true and some of it isn't," he said, adding that he does in fact have a marriage pact with another woman.

"I do have one of those pacts with a friend actually -- my next door neighbor but it's [for when we're] 40."

While rumors about Ed and Taylor are finally confirmed to be false, one thing is for sure: we will be seeing them together all over the United States on Swift's Red Tour 2013.
