Cameron Jibril Thomaz, better known by his stage name Wiz Khalifa, was arrested for possession of marijuana at a Texas airport.

It's no surprise that the 26-year-old rapper was in possession of marijuana since he is known for his love and advocacy for smoking the leafy drug at all times.

Khalifa reportedly smokes so much that  during an interview with Angie Martinez last year, his wife, Amber Rose revealed that since she's dated him, she's only seen Khalifa sober twice.

Wow!

Chron reported that Khalifa's trip to Texas had been for a performance as a headliner for the El Paso music festival.

On arrival at the El Paso airport, Khalifa was stopped at an inspection checkpoint. According to the Chron website that obtained a statement from El Paso police, Khalifa traveled without identification, and because of this, a search was ordered and Transportation Security Administration agents found a canister with marijuana. TSA alerted police, who then arrested Khalifa.

Soon after, the Pennsylvania-native rapper was charged with a misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

Despite his arrest, Khalifa remained cool, calm and collected and even posted tweets during his mini-jail stint along with a jail selfie.

The New York Daily News reported that Khalifa first tweeted, "Free Trap Wiz" along with a photo of his jail door.

Soon after, (just in case fans wanted to see how he looked that day) he posted a photo of himself with the caption "Jail selfie."

Though Wiz appeared unbothered by his arrest from what we can see in the selfie, he did reveal that he was upset about getting locked up on the same day he planned to release his mixtape that is ironically titled, "28 grams."

"I wanna drop 28 Grams, but they got me locced up," he tweeted. "Soon as I get out, the tapes comin out. F-cc that."

Khalifa was later released after posting $300 bail.

That was quick!

Since his arrest, Khalifa released his highly anticipated "28 grams" mixtape, as promised.

So far, from what we can see on his Twitter timeline, fans are loving the new music.
