'Nuestra Belleza Latina' Star Jencarlos Canela Released From Hospital After Severe Wrist Pain
Jencarlos Canela was hospitalized after feeling extreme pain in his wrist, where he found out it was tendonitis. The "Nuestra Belleza Latina" judge was released from the hospital this weekend.
The singer was headed to Orlando this weekend, which meant he was doing better.
He first shared the news on Instagram, where he posed in the hospital.
He said, "From the plane to the hospital. I couldn't even move my hand from all the pain. Turns out that three weeks of signing autographs and four hours of playing the guitar a day can give you tendonitis. Hahhaha."
The more recent picture shows his hand in a cast, but Canela remained all smiles. He is pictured in a car, where he said he was heading to Orlando to meet up with Henry Santos and Maffio.
"On my way to Orlando #LaFam to share with my brothers @maffioglobal @henrysantos in #YoCantoProjectKQ103 Have a great weekend!!!"
Before going to the hospital, he shared a picture of himself playing the guitar, where he was wearing what appears to be tape around his wrist around the same wrist that is injured. Perhaps he was feeling pain beforehand and thought it would just go away.
Canela has certainly been keeping busy, as his new album, Jen, was released earlier this month. The cuban actor's new album has 12 songs that he wrote. He performed one of his singles "Irreparable" in February's "Premios Los Nuestro a la Musica Latina" with the help of New World School of the Arts, a high school in downtown Miami.
He also collaborated with PSY on a new song, "Give it Up Tonight." The song also features KC of KC and the Sunshine Band.
