Selena Gomez Hates Being Defined By Her Boyfriends; The Weeknd Disses Justin Bieber In New Track
Selena Gomez's dating life has been under constant watch from the start. Reportedly the singer is now sick of being defined by her boyfriends.
According to Daily Mail, Selena Gomez has been in a relationship with numerous celebrities namely Justin Bieber and The Weeknd. Moreover she was linked with Charlie Puth, Taylor Lautner to Nick Jonas.
Now the 24-year old is doesn't like the idea of fans only talking about her relationships rather than her career and works as a singer. Reportedly due to this reason Selena skipped going to the Grammys with The Weeknd as she wanted to separate her own identity.
"She's (Selena) fed up with everyone on social media trying to define her by the guy she's dating and is proud of her accomplishments as a singer," TMZ quoted an insider. "She thinks every time she hooks up with someone people ignore her as an artist, a TV producer for a new show, the face of Coach and the most followed person on Instagram."
Rumors are rife that Selena Gomez is partying real hard with her current flame The Weeknd. The rapper has previously admitted of being addicted to hard drugs, but Selena apparently doesn't see a problem going out with him.
Reportedly Selena's family and friends have tried to intervene as they fear she might end up in rehab once again. But the "Hands to Myself" singer is not bothered at all.
Meanwhile The Weeknd is yet to issue an official statement about his relationship with Selena Gomez. However, it is thought that he latest track "Some Way" is a diss towards Selena's ex Justin Bieber.
There is a verse in the song that stated The Weeknd boasting about taking someone's girl and now she is faling in love with him. Another major hint is the line in the song, "The brown boy and the Starboy on a track / Haters gonna say this sh** is wack." It was previously reported that "wack" was the term used by Justin when he described his thoughts on The Weeknd's music.
