Angelina Jolie cries talking about Brad Pitt and divorce: ‘We are and forever will be a family’
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt divorce couldn't have been messier and a subject of massive curiosity. For the first time ever, Angelina Jolie opened up about her split with Brad Pit.
According to The Guardian, Angelina choked up while talking about her recent split with Brad Pitt. The actress recently spoke to BBC World News about her new film on Cambodian genocide "First They Killed My Father" .
During the interview, Angelina admitted that it was extremely difficult time for her and her whole family. She couldn't continue flawlessly with her interview as she started reminiscing about Brad and tears started to well up in her eyes.
Angelina stated that a family will always be a family. She is hoping to get through such tiring times as and emerge as a much stronger family.
As per Metro, Angelina had to compose herself before she could continue with her interview. The topic of Brad Pitt and their divorce seem to be a sore topic for her still.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been together for 12 years. Last year in September their divorce announcement sent both media and fans in frenzy.
Currently Angelina and Brad are locked in a ugly custodial battle over their six kids- Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, ten, and eight year-old twins, Knox and Vivienne. Brad is ready to negotiate for a shared custody but Angelina is adamant to secure a sole one.
"Many many people find themselves in this situation. We've all been through a difficult time - my focus is my children, our children, and my focus is finding this way through," BBC World quoted Angelina adding. "We are and forever will be a family and so that is how I am coping, I'm coping with finding a way through to make sure that this somehow makes us stronger and closer."
Angelina also added that after her divorce with Brad it took her a few months to get back to normal. For those months it was difficult for her concentrate to daily chores around the house.
