Hugh Jackman's Sixth Skin Cancer Treatment Sports Him A Nose Bandage During His Public Appearances For 'Logan' Promotion
Hugh Jackman's character as Wolverine in all of Marvel's X- Men installments has already tagged him in every movie fans' memory. With his current medical condition, fans and followers only wish for his fast recovery as he recently underwent his sixth cancer treatment days before promoting his movie in Brazil. Hugh Jackman has been in and out of cancer treatment since 2013 when an abnormal mole gave out the signal that the actor has basal cell carcinoma.
On his recent tweet, the "Van Helsing" actor revealed his latest skin treatment and has thanked and praised his doctors for procedures done to him. According to reports from UPI, Hugh Jackman even showed his nose covered with gauze and surgical tape and has even suggested using sunscreen. Basal cell carcinoma may have been the mildest form of cancer and although it rarely spread, the actor still considers it to be serious.
Following his sixth operation in just two years, Jackman has already attended two engagements for his latest movie "Logan", first on Friday for its German premiere at Berlinale International Film Festival in Berlin. And second, as Mail Online reports, in Brazil as he used a skin toned bandage for his nose on both occasions. He flew directly from Germany to Brazil where he was spotted arriving on Sunday at Santos Dumont Airport in Rio de Janeiro as fans welcomed him.
"Logan" will be the last movie for his Wolverine character and the 17 years of memories has moved him to tears while doing some significant scenes in the movie. He revealed during a recent interview with The Sydney Morning Herald how important the production and his character were. And despite his condition, Hugh Jackman still displays positivity and full of hope every time he updates his fans of his treatment or operations.
