Xiaomi Mi 6 Launching In Two Variants With Improved Display And Internal Memory
Numerous reports already suggested earlier that Xiaomi is planning for something big in its world of flagship devices with its upcoming Mi 6 lineup. But, the most current insight among all these, seems to make the handset an innovative and different creation among all the existing gadgets of Xiaomi. As per a revelation made by acclaimed tech analyst and insider, codenamed Reviewer, on Weibo, Xiaomi will be launching two variant of Mi 6 and these two editions will be differentiated in terms of their internal storage capacity and display resolution.
According to BGR, the China-based original equipment manufacturer will be evolving a primary edition of Xiaomi Mi 6 equipped with 32GB of internal memory space coupled with a Full HD display. Moreover, there would be another higher end edition of the same flagship having a 64GB of internal storage area alongside a dedicated QHD resolution display.
Surprisingly, as per the said insider, there would be no difference witnessed between these two variants in terms of their Random Access Memory setup, which is pretty unusual in the case of Xiaomi's flagships' variants. Both of the smartphones will sport 4GB of RAM. Some potential sources even suggest that there would be another edition of Xiaomi Mi 6 if the company follows the same trend as it did in case of the upcoming handset's predecessor: Mi 5.
Besides its variants, the insider also provided some potential follow-ups about the handset's camera specifications as well. As per a report by GSMArena, Xiaomi Mi 6 will come with a 12MP main rear camera powered by a Sony IMX386 sensor. This snapper would be complimented with Sony IMX268 8-megapixel sensor driven 8MP selfie shooter. All and all, the smartphone is said to flaunt as a smaller twin of Xiaomi Mi Note 2.
Furthermore, Xiaomi Mi 6 is reported to come with a processor equipped with a Snapdragon 835 Chipset. However, this feature has not yet been confirmed by any potential insiders. Xiaomi fans need to wait till the company declares any further announcements about its next handset.
