World's First Hoverbike Can Fly Like A Single Seater Air Vessel In The Sky
Many cartoons, animation series and action movies like Star Wars have showcased enormous range of flying cars, hoverbikes and air drones to thrill all the viewers with the robotic conceptions of future days. Although, it was never seen earlier in the real world actually. But, next-gen innovative technology makers are perhaps getting their nerves out to bring on such wonders in reality. Recently, Russian startup Hoversurf launched such a magnetic creation, which has now been regarded by a number of potential sources as the first ever fully-manned hoverbike.
According to The Next Web, the hoverbike is basically single-seat aircraft which can lift one up in the sky giving the full control of the same in his own hands. The futuristic wonder has been made in the combination of both the standard motorcycle design alongside an improved quadcopter controlling system. Named as Scorpion-3, the bike activates with a fully automated in-house software, it offers both automated as well as manual control for its users.
As per a report by TechSpot, the aircraft offers a range of security measures for its pilot including an automated speed and altitude limiting system for harsh conditions. It basically allows the rider to safely land down his/her Scorpion-3 if the situation goes out of control to any serious extent. Moreover, the hoverbike can fly for about 27 minutes without any interruption. It can move at a speed of 50 Kph and can carry up to 150 kg. Scorpion-3 can be powered by both electricity and a hybrid battery. The incredible piece of next-gen technology is expected to be priced around $150,000.
Scorpion-3 is right now considered as an "extreme sports instrument," but Hoversurf is hoping to see this air vessel as a hoverbike with "transportation potential." The company had also teased another similar sort of air drones in the last year. The company has explained its newest creation as "a single-seat aircraft that rediscovers the art of flying and hovering enabling a hi-tech quadcopter-based solution."
