It had been rumored months before but it seems the news of One Direction member Liam Payne and Cheryl Cole having a baby is true. Cheryl was spotted a few months before with a baby bump but the pregnancy news was made officially when it was published in a newspaper this week.

Cheryl Cole and Liam Payne were rumored to be dating since last year. The photograph of the British pop star and her baby bump was published in the Daily Mirror newspaper. The photoshoot was apparently for L'Oreal and The Prince's Trust brands.

The Sun reports that the photoshoot was done last month and Cheryl Cole was reportedly 8 months pregnant at that time. This means that she and Liam Payne will be welcoming their new baby any time soon. The outlet adds that the "Girls Aloud" singer may be having a baby boy due to an old wives' tale of her craving for meat while pregnant.

 Neither Cheryl Cole nor Liam Payne has been vocal about the pregnancy news. So much so, that neither singers acknowledged their upcoming baby on their social media. CBS News reports that Liam Payne only tweeted about their band, One Direction, winning the 2017 Brit Awards on his Twitter account.

Cheryl Cole and Liam Payne have not been known to address rumors and that is why they have kept silent about their upcoming baby. But even so, One Direction member Niall Horan once hinted about the pregnancy in the past. He said that he is sure Liam is nervous about being a father for the first time. Horan complimented the couple and their new baby.
