Samsung Electronics is slated to launch the next iteration of Tab S family which is dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. Recently, a leaked image from Evan Blass has indicated a keyboard cover from the upcoming tablet of the South Korean tech giant.
According to The Verge, it has been confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will not make its first appearance at Mobile World Congress (MWC) this year. With this, patrons of Samsung are anticipating that the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will take the center stage.
Recently, a leaked image from a known tipser Evan showed a Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 equipped with a keyboard case. Based on the image, the tablet itself seems to have a similar appearance with its predecessor. In addition, the keyboard which was indicated was similar to that of the iPad Pro, Express has learned.
When it comes with specs and features, Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will still keep the physical home button together with the capacitive shortcut keys. Also, the Tab S3 has a phone icon on the display which hinted that there is a possibility that it might offer a functionality to make and receive phone calls.
Aside from the above-mentioned details, the leaked image doesn't hint other features of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. But then, it can be remembered that previous reports already suggest that the forthcoming tablet from Samsung will boast a 9.7in AMOLED display with a 1536x2048 resolution. It is also anticipated to arrive pre-installed with Android 7.0 Nougat.
Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will be engineered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset that will be coupled with 4 GB of RAM. It is also speculated that the upcoming device from the South Korean tech giant might have either 32GB or 128GB of internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 might also have support for Samsung's S-Pen stylus and it is likely to be the company's first tablet to offer USB-C connectivity. Aside from that, it is also expected to be made available in two options; one with WiFi-only while the other has support for both WiFi and 4G connectivity.
Moreover, information about the price is not yet known but it is safe to assume that it may be tagged close to the value of its predecessor. The Samsung Tab S3 is expected to take the spotlight during MWC 2017 which will be a few days from now.
