People have been waiting patiently for BioWare's upcoming "Mass Effect: Andromeda" game. The game has been under development for a very long time, and updates have been scarce ever since its official reveal way back last year.

Despite all the silence from the developer, they have managed to slowly release update after update on the game's current status, and as the official release date approaches, people have been given more and more updates and information regarding the game. According to multiple reports, it has been confirmed that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will have a March 21, 2017, official release date.

According to PlayStation Lifestyle, now that every inch of detail has been announced, and since "Mass Effect: Andromeda" has gone gold, BioWare has also recently revealed that the game will at least be 45GB in size on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. In response to a recent fan question on Twitter about the Mass Effect: Andromeda's size, Lead Designer Ian S. Frazier immediately said that the game is "at least 45GB, and not more than 60."

According to All Gamer Posts, Frazier later added that "Mass Effect: Andromeda," on PC, would be 55 GB. Yet on consoles, he claims that he is now entirely 100 percent sure, but it could be as low as 40 but no as high as 60, which is why people can safely assume that the size will most definitely be in that range.

Elsewhere, reports have also told that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will be receiving a day-one patch. A good portion of the development team is still working on the said day-one patch.

Frazier then ended his statement that there will be no rest for the "Mass Effect: Andromeda" team until the game is officially perfect and ready. He also revealed that the team is pushing really hard in order to get the patch out just in time for those who will have early access.
