‘Justice League’ News: Green Lantern To Appear In Upcoming DC Superhero Flick
New leaks and reports about the upcoming superhero flick "Justice League" continues to surprise fans. The latest one completely blew fans' minds.
According to Times of India, Green Lantern will feature in the upcoming DC film "Justice League". The DC superhero flick will also feature Batman, Superman, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg and The Flash.
However, rumors are rife that it's not Hal Jordan, but Abin Sur. Those who don't know who he is, Abin Sur is the Green Lantern who comes to earth and passes his ring to Hal Jordan.
Fans have started speculating what role Abin Sur will play in "Justice League". Will he come as a messenger of impending danger to the superheroes? Or he will join the superheroes to fight the evil? As of now, no official statement has been issued by DCEU.
"Justice League" features Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, and Ezra Miller as The Flash. Moreover the Zack Snyder directorial will see Ciarán Hinds appearing as Steppenwolf and Jesse Eisenberg will reprise his role of Lex Luthor.
According to Comicbook, the "Justice League" synopsis has given the fans an idea as what to expect from the upcoming movie. The synopsis stated that Bruce Wayne aka Batman's faith in humanity has been restored after witnessing the selfless sacrifice of Superman in the end of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."
In "Justice League", Wayne will ask his newfound ally, Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman, to help him fight an even greater enemy than the genetically-engineered monster Doomsday. This villain has now been disclosed as Steppenwolf.
Batman and Wonder Woman will work together to find and recruit a team of humans with superhuman abilities. However, the synopsis of "Justice League" also teased the idea that even with the strength planet's unprecedented league of heroes on one side, will they be able to successfully save the earth before it's too late.
