"Game of Thrones" fans are disappointed to learn that their favorite series won't return until July. Actor Liam Cunningham has recently hinted that the American fantasy drama TV series may take more time to release its seventh season than expected.

During an interview with Independent, Liam Cunningham, who plays Davos in "Game of Thrones",  mentioned that Season 7 will likely come out in July. He further stated that premiere date has been pushed back several times.

"I've been disappointing various people around the world because it was meant to come out in April," Independent quoted Cunningham. "It's July now, I think."

The actor further added that there will be a special event taking place this year for the premiere of "Game of Thrones" Season 7. However, the season will only be seven episodes long. Cunningham also noted that "Game of Thrones" Season 8 will start its production process from September as far as he knows. During the Golden Globes, the actor mentioned Season 8 will consist of only six episodes.

"Game of Thrones" showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have already announced that this year the HBO series will not premiere in April. The decision was taken since most of the filming process started late to capture the winter season at its most.

An IMDB slip previously leaked the date June 25 as the premiere date of "Game of Thrones" Season 7. But the leak was quickly rectified as HBO or showrunners didn't officially announce the date yet.

As previously reported by Latin Post, "Game of Thrones" actor Jacob Anderson has revealed he is a bit panicked for people who are going to watch "Game of Thrones" Season 7. The actor added that the show is kind of like a pressure cooker and Season 7 will be absolute chaos.

Anderson also stated that there will be much going on with the characters, plotlines and story arcs in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. He is amazed how the showrunners and crew have managed to fit everything perfectly in just seven episodes.
