Andre Drummond was ejected from Wednesday night's contest between the Detroit Pistons' and the New Orleans Pelicans, where the Pistons lost 109-86. Drummond shoves New Orleans' guard Tim Frazier in the back of the head after a whistle call, which prompted the ejection.

Frazier, a 6'1 point guard, managed to rip away a defensive rebound from the 6'11 Drummond underneath the basket with just 1:23 left to play in the third quarter. Drummond then saw grabbing Frazier's left arm and tried to wrap him up around the waist, which leads to an obvious personal foul call.

According to ESPN as they were battling for position, Frazier tried to forcefully break himself away, and Drummond took offense and responded by shoving Frazier in the back of the guard's head with his right arm. Players from both teams had to separate Drummond from Frazier and Pelicans star Anthony Davis was also involved in the scuffle.

After an official replay, the game officials assessed Drummond with a flagrant 2 foul, which is also an automatic ejection from the game. Drummond then took the blame on him why his team lost the game.

"Things happened so fast, one thing led to another, and after that, I was in the locker room. They won the game and we lost, simple as that, but let's not dwell on that too much." Andre finished the game with 13 points and 17 rebounds; 10 of his total rebounds came on the offensive glass.

According to The Detroit News, Drummond admits that he and his team lost their composure that game and getting a technical foul was one of the main factors, he believes, that cost them the game. Frazier then made one of his two technical free throws and scored two more points from the field before the end of the quarter, which is his only points of the game.

Frazier also said during the post-game press conference that he is not going to back down from anybody. "That's just how I was raised by my family, and I believe that for me to be successful, I have to fight for a lot. So I'm not going to back down from anyone."

The two players have also claimed that all things are well and they have moved on from the incident. The Pistons will be playing the Miami Heat for their next upcoming game.
