Since Google is known for having too many operating systems, none of them have been correctly merged until now. While Chrome works efficiently on laptops and tablets, however, the other operating system, Android is operational for gaming and other offline features. Chrome OS is limited to such areas so Google has a problem in working these two systems in correspondence.
According to Movie Tech Geeks, Google has a resolution for this drawback. Last spring, Google announced that Google Play Store will now work in accordance with Chrome OS. Following this, Samsung has fabricated Chromebook Pro to work out the predicament and so that it can welcome Android-based apps from the Google Play Store.
The Samsung Chromebook Pro offers a worthy innovation: digital pen push and the touchscreen, which is already a threat to Microsoft devices and Windows OS. The integration of Chrome OS and Android could allow Samsung to take the lead after the previous overheating plague that took over the company.
This cross-device Chromebook Plus offers 12.3-inch screen weighing 2.38-pound. It is priced at $499.99. Featuring a Quad HD display made of Gorilla Glass 3, it can rotate a full 360 degrees, making it versatile as it can be used as a laptop and a tablet. It sports a 2 GHz, hexacore dual ARM processor. Similarly, the same size Samsung Chromebook Pro will be powered by a 2.2 Ghz Intel Core m3 processor and will be available at $549.
Both devices come with 4GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. The battery life is about eight hours and includes two USB ports, reports Blasting News.
Google announced that all of the Chromebook models will feature an assistive technology for visually impaired users. The refined model of the ChromeVox screen will assist the users to steer and select commands accordingly.
Google has welcomed Android apps to Chromebooks in order to broaden their uses. This way users will be able to use their devices without an internet connection as well. The Chromebooks have also borrowed the design of Samsung's Note phones, which involves using a stylus which is loaded into a slot on the side.
Samsung Chromebooks are available for a cheaper price if compared to MacBooks. Chromebook Pro, with an efficient processor, is slated to come out in late April. The Chromebook Plus, however, will start selling on Sunday.
