"Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders" Season 2 finally airs this Wednesday, March 8, 2017 with "Criminal Minds" star Kristen Vangsness to make a cameo appearance. Not only that, the official plot description for the premiere episode "Lost Souls" has been revealed by CBS Television Network.
"Criminal Minds" star Kristen Vangsness will officially be a part of "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders" Season 2. According to WUSA 9, the 44-year-old American actress and writer has landed the guest character of Penelope Garcia.
Penelope happens to be a tech geek who will help Russ 'Monty' Montgomery (Tyler James Williams) and Jack Garrett to solve a case.
As for the official plot synopsis of the premiere episode, Spoilers Guide notes, "Unit Chief Jack Garrett (Gary Sinise) and his international response team are called to Tanzania when a 23-member church group disappears."
The end of "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders" Season 1 certainly set the stage for it, introducing Jack Garrett's (Gary Sinise) wife Karen (Sherry Stringfield) as they sent their daughter off to college.
