'Sons of Anarchy' Season 7 Premiere, Cast News, & Rumors: Production Officially Begins, Creator Kurt Sutter Wishes Good Luck to Crew
This is the moment that many have been waiting for: Production has officially begun for FX's "Sons of Anarchy" season seven.
Creator Kurt Sutter took to his Twitter account on Wednesday afternoon, May 28, to let fans know about the exciting news and, of course, wished the best for the "SOA" cast members and crew. "day 1 of shooting season 7," he wrote. "good luck all. don't f*** it up."

Filming of the hit outlaw motorcycle club series is expected to pick up after Tara Knowles-Teller's bloody murder in season six. The show's basecamp was set up at South Flower Street and West 11th Street in Los Angeles yesterday with production taking place nearby.
In addition, Sutter offered fans a few spoilers in his recent video update "WTFSutter," claiming that he is done with casting a "major role" that will join for "eight or more" episodes. He also announced on his website that he will meet up with the series' lead actor Charlie Hunnam for lunch on Monday, June 2, to talk about Jackson "Jax" Teller's emotional journey since they have to continue in the new season without Tara and how Hunnam's character will deal with his wife's death.
"We have lots of discussion before this season begins. But he has the first two scripts now, so we'll sit down and sort of have a Jax's emotional part of discussion, which is always fun," Sutter said. "It's kinda like my favorite part of the season, it's having that chat with Charlie.
The showrunner also revealed that episodes one , two and three are ready for filming, while the scripts are being written for episodes four, five and six. "We are in the process of breaking episode seven, which is usually a big episode," he said. "The same way a premiere sets in motion the bigger elements of the season, episode seven tends to bring some of those things to some sort of conclusion then sets up what will ultimately be some of the bigger story elements that will bring us into the end of the season."
"It's a big one," he added.
Highly anticipated "Sons of Anarchy" season seven will return to FX in September.
