Unknown to many, Leonardo DiCaprio is a strong supporter of wildlife advocacies. Aside from encouraging awareness to protect endangered plants and animals, giving light to end the ivory crisis and supporting climate change talks, Leo is now taking matters to his own hands by getting into the frozen seafood business. The Oscar Award-winning actor said that he is investing in LoveTheWild, a company that sells frozen seafood meals that are farm-raised. He hopes to provide better food choices and to reduce pressure on marine ecosystems.

Leonardo DiCaprio is putting his money into LoveTheWild inspired by his support of many environmental causes, People reported. The "Titanic" actor said that because of the world's increasing population there is also increasing pressure on where to get food. Since seafood is a primary food source it won't be long when the seas and oceans will be totally fished out. He cites climate change and acidification aside from overfishing as responsible for affecting the natural stability of oceans and seas.

LoveTheWild uses only certain species of seafood and fish that are sustainably produced. Fish like striped bass, catfish, trout and barramundi are on the menu, says Leonardo DiCaprio. He added that LoveTheWild is empowering people to take action in a meaningful way.

Aside from his environmental advocacies, Leonardo DiCaprio has been in the spotlight lately because of the Warren Beatty Oscars gaffe. A conspiracy theory was hatched including Leonardo saying that he sabotaged the 2017 awards night to seek revenge, Metro reported. A report surfaced saying that Warren Beatty's mistake was due to the fact that he was given the wrong envelope.

In a video, Emma Stone was thanking everyone for receiving the Best Actress award with Leonardo DiCaprio standing right next to her holding on to the red envelope with her name. He also walked away with the envelope tucked under his arm as seen in the video. No one knows how the Best Actress envelope wound up in Warren Beatty's hands but the PwC already apologized for the mistake. Thus the conspiracy theory involving the "Blood Diamond" actor was born.
