Lamborghini Huracan Performante Clinches Fastest Speed Record In Its First Run
After a long run of widely spread rumors and speculations, Lamborghini's next masterpiece is finally here. The stunning supercar, named Huracán Performante, already broken all the records and perhaps caught everyone's eye in Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit. The next-gen Lamborghini also became the fastest production car to lap Germany's famed track. Besides its spectacular performance, Lamborghini Huracán Performante also scored full marks in looks and royalty.
According to The Verge, Lamborghini Huracán Performante made its official debut in Geneva International Motor Show for this year. Just days before its release the major specs and features of the car have had been revealed. Reports suggest that Performante is lighter than the original Huracán. It is also suggested that the former is also more powerful than the later one. The car also flaunts an incredible design alongside a picturesque color combination. Besides such attractive looks, the car also sports superlative speed and driving capacity on road.
As per a report by Fortune, Huracán Performante comes with a newly improved v10 640 Hp evolving engine, which allows the car raise its acceleration beginning from 0 to 60 in just 2.9 seconds. With such capacity of top-ranking speed, the car can complete a lap of nearly 202 miles in just an hour. This beast of Lamborghini also broke the earlier record of the Porsche 918 Spyder by five seconds and also clinched victory by becoming the fastest production car on lap in Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit. The Performante has already set the newest production cap lap record of 6:52.01 min on the track.
Lamborghini Huracán Performante will be available beginning from this summer, as per the latest indications provided by the authority. The car will be placed on sale along with a starting price tag of $274,390. Insiders suggest that the range will vary with higher-end editions.
