‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 7 To Come Back In July; Official Teaser Hints At Darker Times And Chaos
HBO's mega-hit series "Game of Thrones" is back. After a teaser trailer, Season 7 premiere date has been confirmed. This season is expected to be darker than any of the predecessor.
According to The Guardian, "Game of Thrones will" will return on July 16, 2017. In the new teaser, the series gave a glimpse of each major house sigil along with selected lines of dialogue.
The seventh season of "Game of Thrones" will ultimately bring the series watchers and "A Song of Ice and Fire" readers on the same stage. Until George R R Martin's eagerly awaited novels "The Winds of Winter" and "A Dream of Spring" doesn't come out, the TV series is the only way to find out what happens next in Westeros.
It was previously reported that "Game of Thrones" Season 7 will consist just seven installments. HBO and cast have been really secretive about the details but Emilia Clarke aka Daenerys Targaryen has hinted about an epic battle early in the season.
As previously reported by Latin Post, actor Liam Cunningham, who plays Davos in "Game of Thrones", mentioned that Season 8 will start its production process from September. Actor Jacob Anderson, who plays the freed slave Greyworm, has admitted that he is a bit panicked for people who are going to watch Season 7. The actor added that the show is kind of like a pressure cooker and the upcoming season will be absolute chaos.
Showrunner David Benioff has spoken about how the story is slowly heading towards its culmination. "The pieces are on the board now," The Guardian quoted Benioff. "Some of the pieces have been removed from the board and we are heading toward the endgame."
Benioff added that "Game of Thrones" wasn't supposed to be an ongoing show with new storylines every season. It's one big story with a start and an end, and the showrunners don't want to add extra plots just to stretch it longer.
