Jennifer Garner was recently spotted at a nail salon in Beverley Hills after news broke about Ben Affleck's second stint at rehab battling alcohol abuse.

The "Gone Girl" actor has revealed his personal struggle with alcohol addiction and how grateful he is for his family's and friends' support, reports the Hollywood Reporter. The 44-year-old Garner treated herself on the same day her "co-parent" announced his return from rehab. 

Dressed to impress, the mother of three donned a chic outfit on Tuesday after treating herself to a dose of a mani-pedi. The same day, Ben revealed that he had to spend two weeks in therapy to conquer his alcohol dependency, reports The Daily Mail. 

The "Daredevil" actor has taken his alcohol addiction seroously. He previously pursued assistance back in 2001 and entered the facility right after the Oscars grand soirée on Feb. 26, to recover from alcohol abuse. "The Accountant" prodigy revealed that he first obtained help at the age of 29 because of unnecessary extravagant lifestyle with no boundaries. 

The actor, who has three children with Jennifer made it public through Facebook. He explains that this shift is the initial step taken towards a healthy recovery. He described that he aims to eradicate stereotypes associated with rehab and wants to set an example for his kids that there is no shame in getting help. 

Affleck, who separated from wife Garner in 2015 extended his gratitude to her and close friends who were there at his hour of need. "I'm lucky to have the love of my family and friends, including my co-parent, Jen, who has supported me and cared for our kids as I've done the work I set out to do," he wrote.

Affleck's struggle with alcoholism dates back to his own personal record as his father Timothy was a known addict. His father split from Ben's mother when he was a teenager and wants to avoid the same consequences for the sake of his own children. 

In terms of career growth, Affleck's current performance experienced a hard blow when his gangster film "Live by Night" was not well-received by the critics. He also announced that he would no longer be directing "The Batman" as managing both roles would be a challenge.
